We work with the core values of Confidence, Curiosity, Collaboration, and Compassion in everything we do. So do our participants.

WHY SCIENCE AND COOKING?

Why Science

A strong understanding of basic science concepts is an important step to know how the world around us works. Also, the scientific way of thinking, which is using the skills of observation, classification, inferencing, experimenting, serves as real-life problem solving skills to help navigate through life easily and happily.

Why Cooking

Learning about food and cooking will enables us to understand what goes inside our bodies and what effect it has on us. This knowledge will help us make better choices for healthier and happier living. Being able to cook well-balanced nutritious meals also ensures self-reliance and independence.

Why Science and Cooking

Cooking is a perfect way to learn science as it is a direct, everyday, and the most obvious application of a variety of scientific concepts. The outcomes of cooking are instant and gratifying and the science gone into the cooking process can be easily seen, smelt, tasted, and touched.

WHY SHOULD YOUR CHILD DO THIS?
Hands-on Learning

Instead of sitting back and passively watching, kids have their own workstations, equipment, and resources so that they can DO and learn.

All Kids Welcome

Whether your child loves science or not, loves cooking or not, loves sports, hates studying, is always active, spends most of his/her time by themselves, everybody has a place in our program.

Food and Science Experts

During the course of the program, visits from various food and science experts gives your child opportunities to learn from the best.

Research Project

Towards the end of the program, your child will undertake a research project which will result in them creating their own original recipes, and presenting it for friends and family.
